MY heart goes out to Ben Halliwell and his family over the way he was so violently attacked by Adam Robertson (Mirror, November 23). Ben's dad John is right when he says that young people drink in excess and then cannot handle it.
Cam's Plan Is a Scam ; Your Letters
DAVID Cameron may well be backtracking on his plans for spending cuts but remember this, there's nothing to stop him changing his mind again. Where would he recover these billions of pounds from? First, he will put up council tax, then income tax will go sky high, followed by VAT up to 20% and then interest rates will rocket, too. Cameron's millions will keep him and his banking buddies quaffing champagne for some time.
