? FRANK Field does good work trying to help the decent people in society but I can see problems with his proposals for dealing with neighbours from hell. To move decent neighbours away from them and house the homeless in the vacated properties is just giving someone else the problem.
They need to be told to go. Everybody deserves to live in decent areas except the low life but their children and the Human Rights Act are the problem. The act needs to be amended and children's homes need to come back again to give children the chance to become decent adults and not follow in their parents' footsteps. This problem has blighted society for too long.

The article explores the social, cultural and economical processes that lead Roma children into labour and their own interpretations of the value and risks of working. Based on qualitative research in several Roma communities in Romania the article analyses the different family strategies in coping with the economic difficulties of transition and the place of children in this process. The article is interested in the relationship between children and family, school and community and attempts to decipher what aspects in these relations encourage early entry into work.
