IT'S every bored housewife's fantasy - a hunky bloke with bulging biceps taking you away from your humdrum existence. But for Jeanette Jones that dream became a reality... She snapped a sexy stranger on holiday in 1988 and her life changed for ever. One photo in particular, which she calls "Muscle Guy", found its way on to cards and posters around the world and launched her career as a top-selling photographer.
THE body language speaks of intimacy and desire. These exclusive and previously unseen photographs show two young lovers, comfortable in their own skins and with each other. They hold each other close, before laughingly pulling apart. Then the man twirls his partner, his left hand resting on her slender waist with practised ease. Her little black dress may be conservative but there is no hiding her allure: she is toned and lithe, and there is an unmistakable sparkle in her eye. He is classically handsome. He wears his dark suit well, looks relaxed, and is clearly as besotted by his consort as she by him. The spark between them is tangible. Whatever ups and downs they may have had, or may still lie ahead, at this dance at St Andrews University in 2004, they are a couple of whom envious o...

MADAM, - Well, where do I begin? After reading about the sad loss of Vince Everett and the article about Mavis Collis, I just had to tell you my story. My name is Alan Colclough and I was in the band with Mavis. I also spent many a time with Vince Everett, the popular singer. My father, Tony Colclough, was a wellknown agent in Stoke-on-Trent and booked many acts in clubs. He was also well-known for booking comedy duo Cannon and Ball into Stoke for the first time at Pittshill Victory Club, and as entertainment manager for Burslem Suburban Club. I went on to join many other bands and ended up in the Midlands top show group and won the artist of the year at the Michelin club - good old days.
