A PRISON officer sacked after being accused of assaulting a 21- year-old prisoner during a search, has accepted an undisclosed compensation offer. Paul Perry, of Blurton, and two colleagues were accused of striking, pushing and pulling the prisoner, a convicted armed bank robber, from a cell by his shirt at Winson Green Prison, Birmingham.
