A CHILD molester who made secret trips to Thailand was banned from leaving the UK to prevent him from sexual tourism. Teesside oil worker Colin Connor, 57, is on the Sex Offender's Register for life for a 2003 conviction for seven offences of gross indecency and indecent assaults on young girls.

THE former President of Israel Moshe Katsav was jailed yesterday for seven years for rape and other sex offences. The 65-year-old was convicted at an earlier hearing of raping an employee in the 1990s when he was tourism minister and of later sexual offences while president.
