The Pounds 3,000 orangecoloured Sumitomo fibre optic splitter -- which is used to split the beam of light running through an optical cable -- was taken from a vehicle in the BT secured compound on Heol y Gors, Townhill, Swansea, sometime between 9.30am on Sunday and 7.30am yesterday.
