THE mother of a 13-year-old girl who lost her brave battle with cancer has paid tribute to her "little Tinkerbell". Popular Chantelle Davies, who was fighting the disease for the fourth time, died at home on Tuesday night surrounded by her family.
The questions came thick and fast, like cruise missiles blasting their way under the radar. 'Where was Tinkerbell in the parade? I was looking for her but she wasn't there.' 'Erm... she is represented at the front of the Peter Pan boat,' came the stuttering reply. 'She's also on top of the castle.' 'I know but that isn't the real one,' came the exasperated response.
