Summary


I AM not quite sure why the opposition parties were looking so pleased with themselves last week over the latest Edinburgh trams debacle. The attempt to derail the incoming SNP administration was pretty pointless and it rebounded upon them.

Labour and the Liberal Democrats were so eager to prove they can tame the Nationalist beast that they fired off a premature amendment demanding Alex Salmond build the tram system no matter the cost.
