A PICK-UP truck rolled down a road and smashed into a house, causing damage estimated at thousands of pounds.

No one was in the truck as it rolled down Brunt Lane, in Woodville, and careered into the house owned by mother-oftwo Michelle McGrail. Luckily the house was empty as Ms McGrail was at work and her children, George, seven, and John, 10, were at school.
