Summary


DESPITE its historical importance, the garden at Westonbirt School has for some time been a rather faded beauty, pushed out of the limelight by the neighbouring arboretum. Now that is set to change as work gets under way to restore what was once the Holfords' private garden.

The school grounds have been taken over on a 99-year lease by the Holfords of Westonbirt Trust, set up to restore the house and gardens, and open them up to a wider public.
