SWIMMERS are being encouraged to think pink as breast cancer awareness campaigners dip their toe into a new way of raising funds.
The water in Whitley Bay's new Waves leisure pool on The Links will be coloured pink on Saturday in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Organisers say it is the first time a public pool has been put in the pink for charity.
