This heartening quote is from a recent Government action plan for small businesses supported by both the Prime Minister and The Chancellor of The Exchequer. Similar views are expressed by Tory politicians - a remarkable consensus. The most enterprising companies in the UK today are early stage businesses: start-ups, young growing businesses, re-starts and small management buy-out typetransactions. A desire to be more enterprising may not be the only reason why we need to start thinking more about these businesses.
