THE SATs tests cause a rise in mental health problems among children as young as seven years, it is claimed.
We're often warned about the predatory way in which the commercial world treats young children, but now Diana Watkins, a Wiltshire primary school head, says that the regime of national tests for children aged seven, 11 and 14 creates extreme anxiety, crying and nightmares.
