IT'S Cork versus Waterford in the Munster hurling final as Newtownshandrum (Cork) bid to win their second title in three seasons while Ballygunner (Waterford) are attempting to win the crown for the first time since 2001 and their second in all.

Both sides were very impressive in their march to the final. Ballygunner, for whom ace marksman, Paul Flynn has scored a total of 4-7 in two games, were too powerful for Garryspillane (Limerick) and Clarecastle (Clare), scoring a total of 5-25.
