SENIOR Army officers have accused the Black Watch of breaching operational security, unprofessional behaviour and trying to profit from the death of a colleague, The Sunday Telegraph has learned.

Furious defence chiefs have claimed that leaks by members of the regiment to the press prior to Operation Bracken - the name for the deployment of British troops into the American-controlled zone close to Baghdad - could have jeopardised the security of the mission and cost the lives of soldiers.
