Summary
THERE is nothing new about cockroaches infesting hospitals (Mail). For several years, from the late Seventies to the early Eighties, I worked nights in the A& E of a teaching hospital.
One diversion to relieve the tedium on quiet nights -- especially in the small hours -- was for the porters to approach unsuspecting female members of staff with a matchbox which invariably contained a massive cockroach.See the full content of this document
