DUBLIN ace Barry Cahill is set to be sidelined for two months after his knee injury was diagnosed as a medial ligament tear.
The 2007 All-Star damaged his right knee when playing in the Dublin v Dubs Stars game 11 days ago, but the extent of the problem only came to light two days ago after the player had a scan. I was in Paris for four to five days with my girlfriend, and so I didnt have a chance to have my knee seen to here last week, said Cahill. I had a scan on Monday, and then on Tuesday I found out that the scan showed that I had a grade one tear in my knee. In a way I was relieved as I had thought when I got the injury that it might have been a grade three or four tear, which obviously would have been much more serious.
