CANTOR FITZGERALD, the US-controlled money broker that became embroiled in a high-profile, multi-million pound court case last year, has returned to the High Court after three of its star brokers defected to a rival firm.

In February, Simon Pearce, Neil Hickman and Darren Saffer announced that they were leaving Cantor Fitzgerald to join GFI Holdings, a rival money broker.
