Go on, admit it. You bought that beautiful plant and then realised your borders are so full you had nowhere to put it. So, off you rushed to the garden centre to buy a pot that was roughly the right size to hold it and almost matched the style of your planting.

I am convinced that most garden containers are bought in this way as an afterthought but they really do deserve better.
