DRUMS, dancers and diversity came to Cheltenham for a new fun day.

Hundreds of people turned up for The Fiesta in the Park, at Pittville Pump Room on Saturday, to revel in the carnival atmosphere. There were live bands, crafts, dance displays, and circus performers. Fiona Beck, of Whitethorne Drive, Prestbury, said: "There was a great atmosphere. It is fantastic to have something like this on our doorstep." Fiona, who was at the event with her husband Pete and children Katrina, 10, and Darcy, seven, said her daughters really enjoyed themselves.
