Summary
The Cradle Will Fall ( 2004) 12 3.05pm, Five Another 'Queen of Suspense' Mary Higgins Clark adaptation. Based on her fourth book, this stars former model Angie Everhart, who, while recovering from a road accident, thinks she sees something ominous in the hospital, but she can't be sure - is it a murder or a drug-induced hallucination? As with all good suspense tales, our protagonist is not content to let it go without a thorough investigation, leading her to uncover some very dark dealings linked to a fertility clinic.
Van Helsing ( 2004) 12 10.35pm, ITV1 Despite an opening homage to Universal Studios' 1930s horror classics, The Mummy director Stephen Sommers's adrenaline rush of a movie is aimed at thrillseeking teens, rather than horror aficionados - cue Hugh Jackman's dashing, Indiana Jones-like vampire-buster, Kate Beckinsale's high-kicking, Lara Croft-style Transylvanian princess (pictured with Jackman) and lots of CGI stuntwork. Taking in Dracula, the Wolf Man and Frankenstein's monster, this is frantic, fun and forgettable.See the full content of this document
