Summary
WITH regard to flooding to the rear of houses in Stanhope Gardens (part of Beechwood Ward), correspondent JM (Not Down The Drain, 11.09.09) suggests that the Environment Agency is best placed to provide answers and that the two new builds in close proximity to the houses could be responsible for the flooding.
In fact, a meeting was held between residents, environment agency staff, an officer from Middlesbrough Borough Council, Cllr Coppinger and myself some time ago and a further meeting is planned soon.See the full content of this document
