THE Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt Rev Dr William Johnston, defended his weekend attack on economic policies which condemn young people to the dole queues. His condemnation of such policies as immoral and blasphemous has angered some Conservative MPs, but Dr Johnston insisted: "I have no regrets, especially if this leads to a constructive discussion about the problems of Scotland."
