ALL BLACKS rugby coach Graham Henry today defended captain Tana Umaga in the face of shocking new TV evidence of the spear tackle that ended Brian O'Driscoll's Lions tour.

The video footage, shot by an amateur cameraman, appears to show Umaga and hooker Keven Mealamu dumping the Irishman on his head and has led to fresh calls for disciplinary action.
