STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS1997 No. 550ROAD TRAFFICThe A4 Trunk Road (Hounslow) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 Experimental Variation Order 1997Made 28th February 1997Coming into force 14th March 1997The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State for Transport under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991[1] and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984[2], and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order: -1. This Order may be cited as The A4 Trunk Road (Hounslow) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 Experimental Variation Order 1997, and shall come into force on 14th March 1997.2. The A4 Trunk Road (Hounslow) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996[3] is varied as provided by the following provisions of this Order.3. The table in Schedule 2 is replaced with the table in the schedule to this order.Signed in accordance with a direction from the Secretary of State for Transport.Derek TurnerTraffic Director for London28th February 1997SCHEDULEArticle 3Table(1)(2)ItemArea of Road1.Bath Road, the north side area of carriageway parallel to the northern kerbline between a point 7.0 metres west of the eastern boundary of 486 Bath Road and a point 51.0 metres west of that same boundary and having a width of 2.4 metres throughout.2.Great West Road, the north-west side area of carriageway parallel to the north-western kerbline between a point 2.0 metres north-east of the common boundary of 8 and 10 Adelaide Terrace, Great West Road and a point opposite the common boundary of 44 and 46 Adelaide Terrace, Great West Road and having a width of 2.3 metres throughout.3.Great West Road, the north side area of verge 0.3 metres from and parallel to the northern kerbline between a point 4.8 metres west of the common boundary of 252 and 254 Great West Road and a point 5.3 metres east of that same common boundary and having a width of 1.8 metres throughout.4.Great West Road, the north side area of verge 0.3 metres from and parallel to the northern kerbline between a point 5.2 metres w...
