The Immigration (Leave to Enter and Remain) Order 2000

Made 19th April 2000

Coming into force

Articles 1 to 12, 14 and 15(1) in accordance with article 1(2)

Articles 13 and 15(2) 30th July 2000

Whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House in accordance with sections 3A(13) and 3B(6) of the Immigration Act 1971[1];

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 3A(1), (2), (3), (4), (6) and (10) and 3B(2)(a) and (c) and (3)(a) of the Immigration Act 1971, hereby makes the following Order:
