Summary


THE national coach has described their presence at the Euro 2004 finals as "a miracle", but the tournament's minnows are unlikely to be feeling out of their depth. Latvia take on the Czech Republic tonight, followed by Germany, then the Dutch, safe in the knowledge they've already made history.

It is the first time the small Baltic state has qualified for a major tournament, and the manner in which they achieved it should ensure they do not suffer an inferiority complex.
