Summary

A RECENT newspaper article by John Pilger made some very important points about the Lockerbie bombing and they deserve wider publicity, especially in view of recent letters on the subject in this paper.

Apparently the late Paul Foot was one of the few reporters to sit through the trial which led to the conviction of al Megrahi, who was recently released from prison in Scotland to die in his home country of Libya after being persuaded to drop his long-running appeal.
