LEADERS Ipswich suffered a shock defeat last night as Watford halted their seemingly unstoppable charge towards the Premiership.

They spurned chance after chance as Joe Royle's side slipped to their first League defeat since New Year's Day. The main culprit was Darren Bent, who hit the bar, fired wide and high and struck shots at keeper Paul Jones.
