A COMPACT crossover designed especially for Europe will be revealed by Korean car maker Kia at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Venga, which is little bigger than a Ford Fiesta, is due to go on sale in Britain early next year. It is based on Kia's No 3 concept which was shown in March at Geneva. It will be available with a choice of two 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines, generating between 75 and 115bhp. The car, which will be built at Kia's factory in Slovakia, will be sold only in Europe.
