Three West Midland firms had a day out at Buckingham Palace to pick up accolades from the Queen's Awards for Enterprise.

Representatives from Southam-based construction facade firm Alumet, Turner & Townsend, the construction and management consultancy with a strong Birmingham presence, and Kingswinford- based power industry supplier Alcomet all travelled to London for the ceremony.
