TORY leader David Cameron was last night under increasing pressure to declare whether he would press ahead with a promised referendum on the controversial Lisbon Treaty, even if it has been fully accepted by the rest of the European Union.

A major obstacle to the treaty's ratification was removed yesterday as the Irish voted by a massive two-to-one majority to reverse the outcome of last year's referendum and accept the treaty.
