This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 1(1), 2(1) and 3(3) of Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991(1).

Northamptonshire County Council has applied to the Secretary of State for an Order to be made under paragraphs 1(1) and 2(1) of that Schedule with respect to part of its area.

The Secretary of State has consulted the chief officer of the Northamptonshire Constabulary in accordance with the requirements of paragraphs 1(3) and 2(3) of that Schedule and the Council on Tribunals in accordance with the requirements of section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992(Backf...
