DESPITE being a bit-part player, Carlo Cudicini says he is considering extending his contract by a year to keep him at Chelsea until 2009.

The 32-year-old Italian goalkeeper, who also says he has nothing to prove at the club, made only his second appearance of the season when he replaced first choice Petr Cech for last night's comfortable 4-0 win against Real Betis.
