Summary
THE strife that followed the shameful torch parade through London streets, particularly with Chinese thugs protecting it, was highlighted in the media but a peaceful meeting was held in Argyle Square. We heard speeches by Tibetans, the Drapchi Nuns, and an excellent and impassioned speech from Kate Hoey.
The Tibetan Freedom Flame was lit and we marched with it to St Pancras to see it on its way to Paris.See the full content of this document
