Summary
I WAS surprised and saddened to read Dr Martin Rankin's opinion piece (July 24) on the Government's response to the swine flu epidemic - especially where his views are somewhat contrary to current NHS advice.
I cannot and would not wish to comment on behalf of the Government, but I have to say, for my part, that I am proud of how GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other NHS staff have dealt with the pandemic so far, and I wish to challenge Dr Rankin's assertions.See the full content of this document
