THE EXECUTIVE who led the Qatari government's aborted bid for J Sainsbury is in talks to refinance a pounds 1.3bn debt mountain at Four Seasons Health Care, the nursing home chain.

Paul Taylor, who heads Three Delta, the Qatari state-backed investment fund, is understood to be negotiating a refinancing package with a number of banks, including Credit Suisse - which underwrote the pounds 1.4bn Four Seasons buyout - HBOS and Dresdner Kleinwort.
