VETERAN Mark Ramprakash yesterday admitted he would cherish being involved in next week's Ashes decider, as the men under pressure for their places failed once again.

Ramprakash, 40 next month, played the last of his 52 Tests way back in 2002 but has enjoyed an Indian summer of a career and averages in excess of 100 in the 2009 first-class season.
