AS the NatWest Three today plead in a Houston courtroom for bail to return to the UK, Royal Bank of Scotland, the subsequent parent company of their investment banking operation, is understood to be close to paying out more than $100 million (Pounds 55 million) to settle its liabilities in the Enron scandal.
