KENNY MILLER last night rounded on Scotland's referees, claiming they run the risk of ruining the game with their heavy-handed approach to discipline. The Rangers striker's comments, which place him in the SFA firing line, included accusing card-happy referee Steve Conroy of destroying last week's Kilmarnock/Rangers clash. Conroy has attracted strong defence from the refereeing fraternity this week after administering 11 yellows and two red cards in the 0- 0 draw at Rugby Park.

Scotland striker Miller believes, however, that Conroy spoiled the game as a spectacle. And in an outspoken outburst he went on to accuse former officials of maintaining an old boys' network.
