IT WAS Shirley MacLaine to the rescue at the Palm Springs Film Festival. The veteran actress saved the day when fellow Hollywood star Charlize Theron almost fell out of her little black dress.
MacLaine, 71, who was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Festival, stepped in after Theron, 30, who also received an award, threatened to show a lot more than her gratitude.
