Summary

PAKISTAN pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar was warned yesterday that he risks being banned for life after receiving a record Pounds 28,000 fine for hitting a team-mate with a bat.

The world's fastest bowler was also given a 13-match suspension for repeated breaches of discipline which centre on a dressing-room fight with fellow bowler Mohammad Asif.
