I DONT know how close to or how far away we are from the top teams yet, but what I do know is that it has to be done. Those were the words of Gordon Strachan as he reflected last March on exiting the Champions League to a Kaka-inspired Milan and stated his intention to shatter the theory that the last 16 of the tournament represented a glass ceiling for Celtic.

One year on from when Milan took 183 minutes to break his sides resistance, Strachan is back with Team Three of his Parkhead tenure and will fuel a belief in the coming days before tackling Barcelona that this group can prove a life of banging heads off that perceived barrier need not be their accepted fate.
