Summary


A FAMILY home was ringing to the sound of music after a brass band held a concert in every room.

The home of Carol and David Wright was taken over by The Bavarian Strollers to mark the end of the BRASS: Durham International Festival which was held at Auckland Castle and Park, Bishop Auckland on Sunday. Everywhere Carol, David and their daughter Sadie, 14, and son Josiah,12, went at their home in Cocktonhill Road, Bishop Auckland, the four-piece band followed whether they were doing the ironing, having a cup of tea, watching the telly, or even spending a penny.
