Laid before Parliament 29th June 1999

Coming into force 1st July 1999

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 6(1), 7(4), 8(5), (6)(b) and (7) and 16(2) of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with the Scottish Committee of the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992[2], hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1. - (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) (Reviews and Appeals) (Scotland) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 1st July 1999.

(2) In these Regulations-

"the Act" means the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999;

"appeal" means an appeal against a certificate under section 7 of the Act;

"certificate" means a ...
