Summary


APART from a cathedral burner at Pounds 100-Pounds 150 and a Ministry of Transport-approved masthead lamp by Davey of London for Pounds 120-Pounds 180, there is a definite flavour of sewing and needlework at Kivells, Holsworthy, on Friday. It all stems from Walkey's shop in Kilkhampton, a tailor, milliner and grocery store in the village since it opened in 1807.

Suits of clothes, hats and ladies garments have all been made and sold from these premises, until that side of the business ceased trading in 2003.
