BOXING Kostya Tszyu last night dismissed the prospect of a spring showdown with Ricky Hatton, writes Henry McCall. The world lightwelterweight champion claims he has not agreed a deal to face the Manchester fighter and has options he considers more favourable.
Hatton's promoter, FrankWarren, announced at the weekend that he had agreed a deal in principle with Tszyu's promoterVlad Wharton. Warren added the fight against Tszyu was likely to take place at Manchester's MEN Arena in March.
