Witness wrote the track Ghetto Cry (produced by Judge Dread in 2003), where he sings: 'Brothers and sisters crying in the ghetto... too much crying in the ghetto because of the violent killings,' in response to the local shootings of teenage girls Letisha Shakespeare and Charlene Ellis on the way home from a New Year's Eve party.

'The world is becoming more digital through the internet,' he said. 'It's a great tool but it can be very dangerous. Protecting your identity, never giving your full name, your passwords, being careful in chat rooms. Paedophiles aspire to get young people into private rooms and private messaging via MSN.

'Most young people's bible is MTV. That's where they find their latest fashion, talk and new dances,' Witness said. 'Music can influence our behavior in ways that are beyond our conscious awareness.
