The Intellectual Property Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2014

The Secretary of State in exercise of powers conferred by section 24(1) and 24(2) of the Intellectual Property Act 2014( 1) makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Intellectual Property Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2014.

Commencement of section 23 of the Intellectual Property Act 2014

2. The day appointed for the coming into force of section 23 of the Intellectual Property Act 2014 is the day after the day on which this Order is made.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on the day after it is made section 23 of the Intellectual Property Act 2014 (c.18). Section 23 contains power for the Secretary of State to make consequential or transitional provisions in connection with the Intellectual Property Act 2014. No impact assessment has been produced for this Order as it will have no effect on the costs of business and the voluntary sector.
