The Customs Duties (ECSC) (Quota and Other Reliefs) (Amendment) Order 1988

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Customs and Excise Duties (General Reliefs) Act 19791, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties ( ECSC ) (Quota...

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (ECSC) (Quota and Other Reliefs) (Amendment) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 15th February 1988.

2. From the coming into force of this Order, the Customs Duties (ECSC) (Quota and Other Reliefs) Order 19872shall not apply to goods originating in the Republic of Korea.

This Order amends the Customs Duties (ECSC) (Quota and Other Reliefs) Order 1987, which provides for exemption from customs duty for certain iron and steel products, so that it no longer applies to goods originating in the Republic of Korea.
